Directions To Rosecot Guest House
Rosecot Guest House is located 7 miles south of Edinburgh City Centre.
Coming from within Edinburgh City Centre (A7) head towards the town of Dalkeith (A68).
When your reach the Sheriffhall roundabout. Take the road sign posted for Dalkeith (A68).
Follow this road for approximately 2/3 minutes.
Rosecot Guest House is the first house on the left hand side, just before your cross the bridge

Rosecot is a short walk to bus stop. First Bus Company number 86 bus, also Lothian Regional Transport Company number 3 bus will take you directly into Edinburgh City Centre, same bus numbers apply for return to Dalkeith and Rosecot, we suggest guests purchase a day saver ticket, currently £2.50 this will allow the guests to travel anywhere within the city at no extra charge.
If arriving at Rosecot by bus, ask driver to let you off at Bridgend Dalkeith, cross over the bridge and river, walk between weeping willow trees at entrance of drive, and you have arrived at Rosecot.
From Waverley Train Station, go direct to Bridges, which are above train station, once you have climbed the steps you have now arrived at Princess Street, turn right passed Balmoral Hotel, then right again, you are now located on the Bridges, looking up the bridges, cross to the left hand side of street, here you will find bus stops, look for stop with number 3 and or 86, buses are normally every ten minutes to Dalkeith, time taken to arrive at Rosecot is approximately 20 minutes.
From Edinburgh Airport, if by taxi or hire car, follow directions for city centre, you will arrive at the Gogar Roundabout, from here keep to right hand lane directing you to “Edinburgh City Bypass E (East) follow city bypass until you reach Sheriffhall Roundabout, keep in lane marked “A68” once on the A68 Rosecot is only 2/3 minutes from here. Private lane on the left hand side just before you crosses the bridge. Our direction map make the task very simple.
